Beth wore a bespoke Lily Barclay Dupion silk and Italian lace wedding gown designed exclusively by Patricia Barclay. Captured during a candle-lighting ceremony, this beautiful image reflects the romance, emotion and timeless elegance of her wedding day.

Beth came to me with a clear idea of the wedding dress she had dreamed of, and it was my job to bring that vision to life. I designed her gown exclusively for her in Dupion silk and beautiful Italian lace, creating a timeless dress that felt completely Beth.

She married just nine days before my own wedding, during an incredibly busy December filled with winter brides and my own wedding preparations.

Looking back at these beautiful photographs now, I remember Beth as one of those very special brides from a rather extraordinary time in my own life too.

My Journey: I first met Patricia in January 2011 and was so excited when she agreed to design my perfect wedding dress. I had a clear vision of what I wanted my dream gown to look like and couldn't wait to see it brought to life. What amazed me even more was discovering that Patricia was also getting married in December herself. Despite having a busy diary of winter weddings, she still found the time to create a gown designed exclusively for me. When I finally tried on my dress, it was everything I had imagined and so much more. Made from beautiful Dupion silk and Italian lace, it felt exactly as I had dreamed it would since I was a little girl. The moment I saw myself in the finished gown, I knew it was perfect. I couldn't wait to wear it on my wedding day, and it remains one of my most treasured memories.
