Jodie’s journey wasn’t only about finding her wedding dress. She chose Felicity for herself, but we also had a wonderful opportunity to create something a little different for her entire bridal party. Rather than dressing Emma, Holly, Caroline and Hayley in one colour, we created the same bridesmaid design in four different shades — pink, blue, yellow and purple — choosing a colour for each girl.

Then we took the idea one step further, coordinating the ushers’ ties and handkerchiefs with the girls. I loved Jodie’s willingness to do something different. Seeing everybody standing together on the wedding day and the whole idea finally coming to life was wonderful. And perhaps Jodie was right when she said she might have started a trend!

• My Journey: I can't thank Patricia enough for all her help in choosing my wedding dress. One of the things I loved most was that Patricia could create the same bridesmaids' dress in different colours for each of my bridesmaids, Emma, Holly, Caroline and Hayley. Rather than having everyone dressed exactly the same, each girl wore a shade that suited her perfectly. What made it even more special was that each usher wore a matching tie and handkerchief, bringing everything together beautifully and creating exactly the look I had imagined for our wedding day. I remember wondering whether this would become a new trend because it worked so well. The different pastel shades looked amazing together and added so much personality to our bridal party. From choosing my gown, Felicity, to finalising all the bridesmaids' dresses, Patricia made the whole experience enjoyable and stress-free. Everything came together perfectly, and seeing it all on the day was even better than I had imagined.
