Although we never met in person, Stacy's bridal journey was filled with support, trust and excitement. Surrounded by her bridesmaids and captured in a moment of pure joy, this image reflects the happiness of her wedding day in Cornwall.

Stacy and I never actually met. She was living in Cornwall and couldn’t travel to see me, so we created her entire bridal journey remotely — talking, planning and working together from a distance until her wedding dress was ready to make its journey south.

What I remember most is how quickly the distance seemed to disappear. We talked about her dress, her wedding and even my own wedding plans, and somewhere along the way it became much more than simply supplying a gown.

When Stacy eventually opened the box and saw her dress for the first time, I wasn’t standing beside her — but I had been there throughout the journey that brought her to that moment.

More than fourteen years later, I find it rather lovely that what we now call the Remote Bridal Experience was already happening naturally between my brides and me.

My Journey: When I first contacted Patricia, I explained that I was based in Cornwall and would be unable to visit her boutique in person, but I instantly felt reassured that I was in safe hands. From our earliest conversations, she took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for and guided me through every stage of my bridal journey. As my wedding day approached, Patricia carefully checked and prepared my gown before arranging delivery. Opening the box and seeing my dress for the first time was such a special moment, and I knew immediately it was everything I had hoped for. On my wedding day, I felt beautiful, confident and completely myself. Looking back, what I remember most is not just the dress, but the care, support and personal attention I received throughout the entire process. Simon and I got married at St Bartholomew's Church, Lostwithiel, Cornwall, and we had the most wonderful day creating memories that we will treasure forever. I will always be grateful to Patricia for helping make that day so special.
