Janine chose a beautifully structured gown with soft layered detailing, perfectly complemented by rich berry bridesmaid dresses. Together they created an elegant and timeless bridal party, full of colour, personality and contemporary style.

Janine first came to see me in September 2010 and knew very quickly that she had found her dream dress. Alongside Janine’s gown, I also designed the dresses for her bridesmaids, bringing the whole bridal party together in those beautiful rich berry tones.

Her little thank-you note mentioned all the help, support and tea along the way, which still makes me smile. Sometimes those ordinary moments spent together become part of the memories too.

My Journey: I first met Patricia in September 2010 and instantly knew I had found my dream dress. From the very beginning, the experience felt relaxed, enjoyable and completely personal. When I married Paul in May 2011, everything came together exactly as I had hoped. My dress had everything I wanted in a wedding gown – elegant, timeless and comfortable to wear throughout the celebrations. Sharing the day with my bridesmaids who wore custom made Patricia Barclay dresses, family and friends made it even more special. Seeing everything come together and hearing so many lovely comments about my dress made the day one I will always treasure. Looking back, I still love my dress as much as I did when I first wore it. It was everything I had imagined and remains one of my favourite memories from a truly wonderful day.

Wedding Dress: Janine wore a beautifully structured custom-made wedding gown with a softly ruched strapless bodice and asymmetric floral shoulder detail. Layers of softly pleated fabric flowed through the skirt, creating texture and movement while keeping the silhouette elegant.
