Michelle wore a bespoke Patricia Barclay gown created from my original Nicole design. Personalised especially for her and renamed Michelle, its delicate lace bodice and beautifully soft skirt created a wonderfully romantic bridal look.

I designed Michelle’s wedding gown for her Scottish wedding, using Nicole, one of my existing Patricia Barclay designs, as our starting point. We made a number of changes especially for Michelle, developing the original design into a gown that felt completely her own. Once finished, it seemed only right that her dress should carry her name, and so Michelle was born.

The delicate lace bodice and softly flowing skirt created a wonderfully romantic gown, perfectly suited to the beautiful Scottish setting.

Seeing Michelle’s wedding photographs afterwards was lovely. There is always something special about finally seeing a design exactly where it belongs — on the bride it was created for.
