I first met Poppy at a Wedding Fair in Harrogate where I was exhibiting and Poppy explained that she hadn’t been able to find her perfect wedding dress in her budget. Poppy explained to me all her ideas of what she wanted her wedding dress to look like but hadn’t been able to find. I suggested that Poppy come and see me and together I would design her a unique bespoke wedding dress especially for her. I’m so glad you let me design your wedding dress Poppy - Love Patricia x

• My Journey: I met Patricia at a Wedding Fair in Harrogate and was very impressed with her professionalism and experience, I explained I'd been having difficulty finding the "perfect dress" in my budget. I explained what I wanted and Patricia reassured me it wasn't impossible. I booked in to go and see Patricia. My appointment was a really lovely experience, Patricia was so welcoming, and gave me and family all the time we needed. My appointment with Patricia was a completely different experience to how it had been in other places. Nothing was too much trouble, and Patricia went above and beyond to ensure everything was just right. When my Dress arrived it was completely wonderful and exactly what I had been hoping for, but hadn't been able to find. It fitted perfectly and was so comfortable and flattering. • Wedding Dress: Poppy wore a beautiful "Bespoke Lace Amelia Gray Wedding Dress", designed exclusively for her by Patricia Barclay. Poppy's dress was created using a soft lace and tulle and had a bateau sweetheart neckline and 3/4 length sleeves and covered working buttons and loops at the back of her bodice before the applique skimmed over her hips and flowed into a ballerina length skirt with lace edged hemline.

I loved wearing it on my Wedding Day. I felt so happy knowing that this unique dress had been designed especially for me, and it suited me and my personality.
