Claire married Phil in May 2014 wearing a bespoke Amelia Gray wedding gown, designed by Patricia Barclay. Created within a shorter timescale, delicate lace over layers of soft tulle and satin formed her beautiful ballerina-length gown.

Claire came to me with a shorter timescale in which to create her wedding dress, but that didn’t mean her gown needed to be any less special.

I created a bespoke Amelia Gray design especially for her, using beautiful lace layered over soft tulle and satin. The ballerina length gave the gown a wonderfully feminine character and suited Claire beautifully.

Seeing Claire and Phil together in this photograph brings the dress back to me immediately. It is a lovely reminder that a bespoke gown doesn’t always need a long journey — sometimes everything simply comes together.
