Stacey married her soulmate John on 7 August 2016 wearing a bespoke Amelia Gray wedding gown designed exclusively for her by Patricia Barclay. She was attended by bridesmaids Charlotte, Rachael and Michelle, wearing bespoke gowns designed by Patricia Barclay

When Stacey walked into my boutique almost 22 months before her wedding, I just knew that she was going to be a pleasure to work with. Stacey was a confident young woman who knew she wanted “Something Different”. She dreamed of a princess-style wedding dress with a twist, loved everything pink, and together we created a bespoke Amelia Gray gown that was completely Stacey.

Her bridesmaids were all such lovely ladies to work with too, especially her sister Charlotte, who never stopped smiling. Every appointment over those 22 months became part of a wonderful journey.

Thank you for letting me be such a big part of your wedding, Stacey. You were never just a client — you became a friend.

My Journey: I first met Patricia in December 2014 and this is when we started to create my “Dream Dress”. I always knew that I wanted a “Princess Style” dress with a twist and Patricia was able to create exactly what I had envisioned and so much more. My bridesmaids also had their gowns specifically created for them too, finishing my vision in total.

Wedding Dress: Stacey knew she wanted a princess-style wedding dress with a twist — and she loved everything pink. Her bespoke Amelia Gray gown was created in a beautiful soft blush, with a fitted sweetheart bodice, delicate lace and appliqué detailing and a wonderfully full princess skirt. Romantic, dramatic and just a little different, the finished gown captured Stacey’s personality perfectly and gave her the princess dress she had always imagined.

Bridesmaid Gown: To complete Stacey’s vision, I designed bespoke Ella Rae bridesmaid gowns in silver-grey chiffon, chosen to complement the soft blush pink of her wedding dress. Gracie featured a semi-sweetheart neckline, softly ruched straps and gentle folds of chiffon falling from the hip, creating an elegant and flattering silhouette.
