Callie and her mum, Christine, travelled all the way from Wales to find her wedding dress. Thankfully, it didn’t take us very long! Once Callie had found the gown that felt right, we made a few personal changes to make it completely hers. I always loved that she and her mum made that journey together — and that afterwards they remembered the experience as fondly as the dress itself.

• My Journey: The first time I met Patricia was in January 2011, and from the moment I arrived, it was an amazing experience. My mum, Christine, and I travelled from Wales to visit Patricia's boutique, and she immediately made us both feel relaxed, welcome and completely at ease. The journey was more than worthwhile because I couldn't believe how quickly I found my dress. With Patricia's help and a few special tweaks, I knew it would be absolutely perfect for my wedding day. Every appointment felt special, and Patricia always made me feel as though I was her only bride. Looking back, the whole experience was every bit as memorable as the dress itself. Sharing the journey with my mum and finding the gown I had always hoped for made the experience truly unforgettable.
