Vicky and her five bridesmaids Cassie, Hayley, Katie, Kirsty and Sarah were really lovely ladies to work with. The challenge was to design a Bridesmaid dress that would suit five different personalities and shapes but that would all tie in with Vicky’s 1920’s theme to compliment , but not over-power her Wedding Dress.. Although I didn’t actually design Vicky’s wedding dress, I always felt like she was my Bride. Thank you Vicky for letting me design all your Bridesmaid Dresses to complete your vision.

• My Journey: After struggling for months and months to find the perfect dress for my bridesmaids, with no luck. I was about to give up hope, when I stumbled on Posh Frocks whilst I was working in Otley. I popped in one afternoon to see what dresses were on offer and met the lovely Patricia. Whilst she had some beautiful dresses in her boutique, still none that fit the look that I was after. Patricia told me that we could sit down together and she would design a bridesmaid dress that incorporated my vision. The following week I took all my bridesmaids to see Patricia and she showed me some beautiful sketches that she had designed just for us. We all decided on a beautiful vintage lace and tulle black evening dress, which was absolutely perfect for my 1920's Art Deco Wedding. Patricia has been such a breath of fresh air and is a really lovely lady whom I would highly recommend.

• Bridesmaid Gown: Vicky's Bridesmaids Cassie, Hayley, Katie, Kirsty and Sarah all wore a beautiful unique "Bespoke Vintage Lace and Tulle Bridesmaid Dress", called "Victoria" which was exclusively designed for them by Patricia Barclay under my Ella Rae Bridesmaid Label. Victoria was created using a Black Vintage Lace and layers of soft black Tulle. Victoria had a drop-waist that hugged the hips and took shape from the knee. The neckline of Victoria was created as an halter-neck to match in with Vicky's Wedding Dress.

• Testimonials: We went to pick up our "Bespoke", Bridesmaid Dresses on Saturday and they were "Perfect", they were just as I had imagined them to be from Patricia's sketch to them being created and brought to life. The dresses were beautifully made and I was a very happy bride. The dresses fit perfectly on all my bridesmaids. Patricia is a really lovely and very professional lady, whom I would highly recommend without hesitation to any bride to be who is looking for a unique wedding or bridesmaid dress.
