Sarah & Ross
Sarah married Ross, "The Love of her Life" on 31st May 2015, at Cedar Court. Sarah wore a Bespoke Lily Barclay Wedding Dress designed for her by Patricia Barclay. Sarah and Ross celebrated with close family and friends.
Sarah and Ross’s wedding was particularly special because their journey to becoming husband and wife had been a long one. When their wedding day finally arrived, there was so much more behind it than simply choosing a dress. Sarah came to me knowing exactly how she wanted to feel. She dreamed of a romantic princess ballgown, and together we created a bespoke Lily Barclay gown exclusively for her.
Beautiful lace formed the bodice, with a semi-sweetheart neckline beneath a delicate bateau illusion neckline and three-quarter-length lace sleeves. Layers and layers of soft tulle created the full princess skirt, flowing into a cathedral-length train.
We even named the gown Sarah after her, which somehow felt completely right. I also designed a bespoke veil to complete her bridal look. After everything Sarah and Ross had waited for, seeing them finally celebrating their wedding surrounded by the people they loved was incredibly special.

My Journey: I first met Patricia in January 2014 and was so pleased that I had found her to design my perfect wedding dress. After trying dresses elsewhere, it was such a lovely feeling knowing that Patricia was going to create something especially for me, listening to all my ideas and bringing them together in one gown. I had always dreamed of a beautiful princess ballgown. We created the lace neckline and three-quarter-length sleeves I wanted, with layers of soft tulle forming the full skirt and cathedral-length train. Patricia even named my dress Sarah after me, which made it feel even more special, and designed a beautiful veil to complete everything. I absolutely loved wearing my dress and didn't want the day to end.
